    Default Stupid but simple question(s)

Say it is middle stage of tournament and everyone at my table has 25-50 bbs.

Is there anything wrong with only playing AA KK QQ + try to flop a set until i get low enough where allin/fold is correct?

or is that a bad way to play?

I'm pretty intoxicated but I'll take a stab here:

set mining gets worse and worse the shorter the stacks get, and enjoy getting blinded out sir because those hands don't come around enough.

that's pretty bad. U may make the money with this strategy, but you will not run far. You need to be trying every way possible to accumulate chips right now. No one cares about ITM. Everyone cares about FT appearances.

it's a good way to play if you are pretty bad at poker. But you should add more hands toward 25BBs. Google push fold strategy

That said it's much more fun to play more hands, and this question doesn't seem like you want to take poker very seriously which is fine, but why play like a nit?

Eh im just not good / rehearsed at late / middle deeper stack stuff in tournaments.

I have been playing smaller turbos and really have not spread to the bigger field games so i don't know whats correct.

And yeah i wanna take poker seriously that's why I posted my question and that's why I'm thankful for your thoughts. :P

i had another question but i figure maybe it doesn't really warrant a new thread, so here goes
say im bullying the table with a small raise and then a bet on the flop, winning a lot without showdown, then some guy shows up starts smally reraising me half the time... taking control of betting.
whats best counter measure? raise less or come over top of him more?
and the 2nd thought is, should i be making the play he is making

Why do you think it has to be either one or the other? If it seems someone is 3-betting your pre-flop raises wide, then you should adjust in both ways: cut down on the number of hands you raise him with, and add to the number of hands you 4-bet him with.
Similarly, if someone is raising your flop c-bets a lot, then c-bet him less and reraise him more.

If it works then yes. Stack sizes matter a lot here.

You will improve faster if you post particular hands instead of general questions.
