Default $3.40 7 left. A-10s on BTN with 1 caller.

whats your play here? limper was limping a lot of hands. he was loose aggressive. blinds were going up in 1 minute. It's either a shove or a fold but which and why? havent run this thru wiz. forgive me if this is standard.

    Isn't this an oxymoron?

Anyway, I'm happy to shove here to try to take the pot down preflop. I'd expect the limper to either fold or if he calls, for us to be ahead of his range.

Loose aggressive != limping a lot of hands.

I'd be pushing this. If he's calling a lot preflop you're going to expect a fold and if he does call then you're ahead quite a lot of the time anyway.

Really? I would have thought that somebody who was loose/aggressive would be RAISING a lot of hands and that somebody limping a lot of hands was loose/PASSIVE.

I don't agree that if we shove we are ahead of his calling range. I would fully expect a fold though, with a calling range somewhere around 77+ AQ+ maybe KQ or AJ but not too sure.

I was surprised how good people were at the 3.40s at stars. Well maybe not good in terms of overall strategy, but certainly not calling as lightly or shoving as tightly as I had experienced at even the $10 on Titan. This was one of the main reasons I first considdered quitting SnGs and taking up ring games since I switched to stars.

Depends on how loose he is. This is where HM or PT really come in handy. I would expect a call with any pocket pair. 22-99. If he had higher, I doubt he would have limped.

I find that Stars and Tilt has a ton of multitablers at the $3.40. They are not very profitable outside of the weekends. I find it more profitable to go slummin during the week.
