Default Betting on the NFL draft... (also Vegas Sportsbook ?'s)

... I'm trying to get a plans for a trip to Vegas all hammered out... and the NFL draft weekend is a definite possibility. I have watched the entire day 1 coverage of the NFL for about 6 straight years.. and I would hope to sit in a sportsbook all day watching and drinking.

I know Vegas will take bets on just about anything... but do they take bets on the NFL draft? Tks in advance...

Still can't believe the Houston Texans didn't take Reggie Bush with the #1 pick last year...

Yeah. I'd MUCH rather see Reggie Bush constantly stopped behind the line of scrimmage for a loss AND simultaneously watch the opposing offense run to the strong side of the field (the field Mario guards).

I mean, who wants to see the Texans 6th round pick gain more yards, have more TDs, and have a higher YPC (he STILL does) than Reggie Bush when I can watch Reggie Bush get the living crap beaten out of him behind the Texans offensive line. And who wants to see Mario Williams be the difference maker between 2 wins last year and 4 wins this year (with three games left this year, I might add).

True, Reggie's rushing stats need to improve but he is an excellent receiver out of the backfield and he is great on special teams. His 4TD game the week before last was exciting...he's a special player.

bumpitty... well, this trip didn't happne, but 3 years later it's back to being a possibility again...

I love the fact that it's possible, but does anyone know details on this? Are the bets $5 minimum? Getting like +300 on naming specific players? or -110 on picking defense or offense.

Is MGM still the most ballin' sportsbook? Or are any of them going to be pretty poosh? Do you get free drinks in the sportsbook? Or are they cheap or what? Food?

    Thanks to all you ballllllllas...

Sportsbook at Venetian and Caesars is nice too. If you want a seat show up early and guard it with your life. At the venetian I made a $100 bet on the lakers and was given 3 free drink vouchers, which is pretty lame. Idk what it's like elsewhere.

Round 2... i think his Senior Bowl performance was atrocious enough to keep Jacksonville from taking them in the first, but I teams do all sorts of stupid shit....

Tks gmml, I'm baffled with how difficult it is to find out this information. 3 drinks per $100 wager isn't going to cut it. I drink too much and bet too little... Do any offer, limitless comp drinks as long as you are wagering something?

Does no one else besides GMML have any experience getting free drinks in a sportsbook?

Last March we were at MGM. I went to poker, but I think my friends were betting about $20/wager and getting drink tickets. They were also talking to the people around them and would get their tickets too because not everyone drinks (even though that concept is baffling).

I would just ask for tickets and see what happens.
