Default Hand that has been bugging me.

Live final table 7 people left blinds are at 2,000 4,000 and I'm holding more than half the tournament chips.
I'm just before the button with AQs
UTG raises to 12,000 one caller I raise to 26,000 utg calls other player folds.
    Ksjh4s
UTG has been very tight throughout the tournament, but the past few hands has been in every pot and shown that he's willing to play a lot looser. Pushing a few times with top pair good kicker.
Of course he pushes all-in for about 50,000. I called with my straight and flush draws. He shows k4 and his hand holds up.
The hand evens our stacks out and I ended up with a co-pilot on table control.
I keep going over it and I believe I made the right call, but since it is one that I keep going over I figured I'd put it out here for people who know alot more than me.

There's about 120,000 in the pot and you need to call 50,000.
If his range is {44, JJ+, AK, KJ+, K4} you'll win 45% of the times which is enough to call profitably. (Especially since his range can actually be much wider as he raise-called from UTG with K4, indicating he's an idiot.)

Your preflop reraise is somewhat questionable as it puts you in a difficult spot in case somebody either reshoves pre or shoves on the flop when you completely miss it. Depending on reads I'd rather flatcall or go all-in the first time around.

He was acting particularly interested in getting into hands with me. Table talk and what not it was obvious that his calling range against me was close to ATC. I was sure I had him dominated pre and the other caller was pretty fold heavy on pots like this so I thought I'd get alot out of this hand against a player tilting heavily. I did take the same player out in 3rd when he pushed all in with 2's and I had picked up queens.

stack sizes are important, but probably just shove pre. with < 20 BBs shoving TP is not light. Your post sounds like you are slow playing AQs which is not good in a spot where he is OOP and can bluff you out on the flop and you're a favorite to miss.

    Also this
his calling range against me was close to ATC
    and this

I was sure I had him dominated pre
don't make sense. AQs is a 2/1 favorite over a random hand.

on the flop, sloppily snap shove your chips in like Hellmuth. If you took any time at all, it was a slow roll.

    Put him allin preflop.

If his range is broad enough to include a bunch of holdings worse than AQ and he's likely to call whatever the amount you raise, that seems like more of an argument for raising big than small.

Yeah, I'm not sure I like the pf raise to 26k... Gotta make it at least 36 here, no?

At any rate, based on the reads / info you posted, esp your inkling that our villain is playing ATC against you - I'd be pushing here without thinking too much about it. Would be nice to know what hands, if any, you've seen him play in that early of a position, or if you've seen him limp from there and show a big hand like so many donks seem to love doing. That latter point would make me much happier about a shove.
