I have AK, AI by big stack on bubble ($27)

Opp's stats were something like 27/22 at this stage. He had been playing very aggressively with the big stack. I haven't run this through SNG Wiz, but what are your thoughts - call or fold?

fold, i'm calling jj+ maybe QQ+. were second in chips and AK just doesn't do well enough against a random hand.


i have some trouble with these stack sizes, what range are you shoving utg, button, and sb with these stack sizes?

If I was UTG I would shove 77+, AJ+

If I was Button, provided that SB and BB were tight I would shove ATC.

If I was SB I would probably shove 80% or so provided that BB isn't a calltard.

I would call, because if he's running over the table he may feel happier to do this with AQ and some pairs, you're only a severe dog to aces and a decent dog to kings, hes doing it wider. Yes it may be high variance but I call, I just cant bring myself tofold, but I just got crushed in a few $5s so take it with a pinch of salt.

i have no clue if i'm right here, but personally in this spot even if i know hes pushing ATC i'm still folding. like i said earlier i just don't think AK has enough equity vs a random hand to make this +EV. someone would have to do the ICM calcs to know for sure. i would but to be honest i've been away for a while and kinda forget how to do the whole ICM calcs.

thanks, this is defiantly the stack size where i struggle most. UTG i'm to tight here probably shoving 99+ AQ+, and on button have a hard time shoving ATC with this stack(short stack i could and big stack i could no problem) SB i'm about 80% too so thats good.

This is correct - I ran it in SNG Wiz and there's no range that Button can have that makes shoving +EV.

I ran it in SNG Wiz:
- If Button shoves 10% then we can only call with KK+
- If Button shoves 25% then we can call with QQ+
- 50% --> JJ+
- 100% --> 99+
