Default Some spots in live tourney

Final 8 from live tourney, these spots are sorta standard I suppose but I'm second guessing myself on both of these hands.

    Final 5 make money, 1st: 1100, 2nd: 800 3rd: 400 4th: 250 5th: 100

Villain in this hand is an experienced player who has dominated the live tournies at my local club. I just don't understand his play in this hand, I was actually doing a staredown with him as he limped preflop to try to figure out what the hell he was doing. ..I really don't see him doing this with an overpair...he could not possibly count on getting popped from late position so I really have to discount JJ+. The table was playing fairly tight and few hands were going to the flop.

I really really feel like he has 66-88 or a flush draw almost all the time, of course he could have limped with JTs...but to be honest i think my pair is good here a lot so I'm not sure if it matters if I had KT or K9.
    Stacks (approximate):
    UTG 60,000
    UTG+1 70,000
    UTG+2 80,000
    MP 110,000
    MP2 60,000
    CO 50,000
    BTN 40,000
    SB 80,000
    BB (Hero) 65,000

    Hero is BB with
    Blinds 2,000/4,000
Action: 2 folds, UTG+2 calls, 4 folds, SB completes, Hero checks

    Flop:
    Pot size: 12,000
SB checks, hero checks, UTG+2 goes all-in for 80,000, SB folds, Hero?

    Hand 2:
    7 players left
    5 folds
    Blinds are 2,500/5,000
Hero is SB with and 2nd shortest stack with 60,000
BB is 3rd biggest, and a fairly conservative, winning tournament player, has hero covered

Hero (should shove pre?) completes, BB checks

    Flop:
    Hero checks, BB checks
    Turn:
    Hero checks, BB bets $15,000...hero?

    1) Could easily be a huge hand, there are lots of draws you are behind, i would just fold. Given read 66-88 make a lot less sense than a big hand to me pre, post I can see how this flop looks really bad after you limp a big pair and also live players hate to get drawn out on.

    2) shove pre is profitable ignoring payouts and given read seems like a no brainer because I doubt he calls anywhere near wide enough. If not I think folding is much better than playing K6o OOP. I am assuming no antes, with antes not shoving is really bad.

As played I would go all in, I would also have bet the turn. I mean you can't check fold?

Min raise pre and really small flop bet also fun option.

Thanks doc, I did both of the actions you said although I got called for clock on first one (villain claims he had 8d7d). After I made a correct fold earlier and would have flopped a royal I wasn't sure I was making the right decisions.
