Default $5 DON overpair & 2nd nut flush draw faced with overbet

EDIT: Title should say "2nd nut flush draw."

Didn't really know what to make of this decision. A tough fold or an easy shove? I'll let you have a go at this one. Keep in mind that this is a double or nothing game at an early stage. Your input is appreciated!

Do you have any read on your opponent?

Against the tightest players I might fold, but the betting line looks too weird for me. 90% of the time a made flush will check and allow you to c-bet, so you should probably be more afraid of a check-raise here. Calling PF and then betting OOP usually indicates weakness and I'm happy to shove it AI. Even if we run into a set or a flush here, we will still have outs unless opp has AdXd.

I can't imagine this is a hand beating you right now, I'd ship it pretty quickly and do a fistpump.

I would just shove because I wouldn't think a made flush would just bet out like that.

He's probably on a flush draw himself. Two pair or even a set would make this play too.

So what did he have? What did you do?

My first instinct was to shove here tbh but I ended up folding since a)it's way too early in the tourney and not being pot committed I can wait for a better position. It's a DON game, in which I play as tight as I can until the later stages. b)I have virtually no reads on this guy at this time. Maybe he did flop something huge and knows I have a big overpair that I'm willing to put all my chips in with with virtually any flop. I would have happily pushed AI here in a regular SNG though for sure.

Your thinking is fuzzy and probably leads you into folding a hand that you should push with. You need to win AI confrontation early in a DON about 65% of the time since doubling your stack doesn't double your equity. You probably have at least that. Add to that you have fold equity as well since sometimes a (bad) villain will give you credit for a flush and fold a set or he had air anyway. Not shoving is a mistake.
