effects of SNG Madness on FTP?

FTP is running an SNG promotion 3/5 to 3/7. I thought it would mean the average skill level of players would be diluted with the normally non-SNG players joining in, but now I wonder if it means the opposite, that primarily it's the sharks that have joined in the fun. What do you think? Is it best to join in or wait it out?

Whenever there are these promotions, you get floods of inexperienced players comng in (which is the idea of the promotion). I'd say that the average skill level should drop.
