Default Anyone else @ $1-3 45 man turbo??

I have chosen these lovely two tourney's t be stubborn with. Anyone else play these?

And just how tight are you going at them.

I find myself clammed up like a virgin on easter, only to be about 10-15BB @100/200 .

I usually make my move @18- players. I'm just wondering if I can afford a couple marginal limps earlier so I might be sitting higher on the stick.

I love theses pocket rocket tourney's , and honestly the turbo factor doesn't really hinder me. I find the 90-180 man turbo just a little to fast near the end. Throwing turpentine shoves like I'm pissin on a brush fire........

I haven't played many of them, but did have a go at the $3.45s a while back. I found myself as you have feeling like I was playing far too tight and then busting much of the time with around 15-20 left. Limping early on from LP with suited connectors (56/67+) and small PPs when you have 3 or more limpers before you might help, but you may be doing this already. Other than that are you playing your big hands early too passively or too aggressively? The difference between sitting on 4000 and 2000 when the blinds get to 150/300 or so could just be not extracting max value when you do hit a big hand. Post some HHs?

high level 10-15 BBs at 100/200 is probably good, what is the ave stack at that point?

not really sure what kind of answers you are hoping for, if a play is good make it, if it's really close then it probably doesn't make much difference. In general new tourney players are obsessed with not going out early because it makes them feel bad, but it's never too early to go broke playing well.

look for opportunities to play looser when the tables aren't full. Not that you're going to open up much when it's 8 players, but often you'll get 7 players and one sitting out - well now you've got a lot more playable hands -- you're playing 6max for the next few hands!
at this level simply play solid poker, wait til you connect and then make them get it in so you get paid.
