Can't fold. He might have Ax or random pocket pair and attacking what he perceives as standard bluff cbet.
Coming over the top with TPGK isn't cool either.
I'd call and re-evaluate on turn. Position rules.

i assume most players raise AK pre here? also i don't think a set raises on this board, 2 pair unlikely since their was a preflop raise. if i had reads and thought opponent would call a shove with Ax i might just shove, but with no reads i call and am willing to get it in on the turn. I'm not to worried about giving a free card since theirs not much he could be drawing to. is it terrible checking the turn and shoving over a raise.

I'd assume he hit 2pr Ace eight. your queen is toast. Either to a king or a rag.
To most people this is like a can of pringle's. You are gonna keep eating because you have the highest pair and afraid to fold. I's say you have at most a 55% chance of winning.

The villain ought to know that that flop hits your range pretty hard when you raise from an EP. I have never played this level, but after a CR the villain is probably firing 80% time on the turn. It just seems like we might be calling and are gearing up to fold to bet, which is coming more often than not. Burning 180 chips comes to mind...

I don't think you are losing much value by folding to the CR.

Letting him bluff the turn or think he has the nuts with AJ. It's a basic WA/WB situation.
