mtt roi?

    Default mtt roi?

anybody have an idea of what a good roi would be for mtts? I know it would vary a lot because the swings can be big playing mtts, especcially the big ones where you go a long time in between wins usually. but over time what is a good roi to shoot for. im assuming it would be higher than sngs because we wouldn't play mtts if we expect the same payout in an mtt as a sng but play for a couple hours longer. so does that mean about 100% roi is a good goal? even higher maybe?

You should be earning the equivalent of the buyin on each event.

Or a ROI of 100% (200 depending on how you calculate it)

Let's here it for 3k posts! (that count)

The lower the buyin, the more dead money, the higher the ROI.

But for the bigger MTTs, 100 is a good ROI.

well i hope over time ill be able to obtain a 100% roi then in mtts, if i can play $200-$300 worth of mtts a day that would be a pretty decent chunk of change for me

    it depends.

most high volume high buyin players are not sustaining a 100% roi anymore.

Mine is right around 75% for the year and I feel like that's really good.

Yeah it depends on the size and strength of the field. Many players probably have an ROI over 200% in the Sunday Million or the $55 80 grand, but in one of the toughest daily tournaments, the 100 cubed on FTP, even the best players would be lucky to sustain a 25% ROI.

If you can play a good volume of high-stakes MTTs with a 50% ROI then you're doing very well.

How would I adjust those numbers for stakes $10-$30/Avg field size 500-800? Also what do you consider "high volume"?

My ROI is between 85%-110% with a small sample size (1k mtt's).

I think 1k mtts is a big enough sample that you can put a decent confidence level at your ROI%.

Anything above 85% is doing great.

    I think high volume players are playing 20+ tourneys a day which = 100+ a week = 5,000 a year.

I still haven't even hit 1000 tourneys this year.
