Default 4th position AQo raise to 4BB after two limpers, villian reraises 14BB. 40BB stack

Second hand of a 54 table turbo tournament. Blinds are 25-50

    first player folds
    second player (2150 chips): limps
    third player(1975 chips): limps
Hero (2000 chips) (Aqo) raises to 200
everyone folds except second player who reraises to 700
hero moves all in and second player calls, he shows q10s

I think I played that hand well because most players at that venue are a bit spewy; most play at pub games, and I don't think folding such a strong hand is possible against these player, perhaps a leak in my game but i'm ahead a vast majority of the time.

the player ended up getting a T and sucking out on me; i wasn't that fussed because i thought a played it optimally but one of the other players disagrees; he thinks that i should have raise it much more, like maybe 6-7 BB so that i scare of those hands; if i did raise it that much I would take down the pot a vast majority of the time, but win much less, whereas going 4BB gives opponents the opportunity to call with a worse kicker or attempt to bluff me with QT. I'm not sure whch play would have more EV. He believes that it is good to bet 5BB+1 for every limper preflop and bet pot after the flop, he thinks being really aggressive like that works, and it does for him; he seems to do well and players at the table are too scared to get involved with him, even if they think he is bluffing they don't want to risk that many chips. opinions?

he is right in the sense that if you are expecting to be called you're value betting and if you can't bluff much there is no need to balance sizing so most of your value bets would be larger. But betting so much people won't call in that setting is a huge mistake.

you are right in that you definitely want QTs to ship over your open with AQ rather than fold. And him calling a raise pre is fine too.
