Default SNGPT vs. SNGWIZ vs. SNGEGT

Just open fishing here for thoughts, pros, cons and etc. from those of you that have used these.

I get the idea that SNGWIZ > SNGPT because it gives push/fold decisions based on action rather than simply open raising.

I haven't used SNGEGT yet. Just downloaded this evening.
I'd like to meet Jesus. Not because people claim he was the son of god, but because he could turn water into wine. A man like that is good to know, because you never know when you'll need a bottle of wine or an extra nail.

have u done any ICM calculations by hand before?
If not, I suggest doing a few first.
OTher then that SNGWIZ seems to be the most feature rich out of the 3 programs, altho I have never used it before so an outright review is not possible from me.

I would download both SNG Wiz (for the 30 day free trial) and SNGPT (for the demo) and try them both. I haven't had any experience with SNG EGT but I hear that you can use it during a game (ethical questions aside) whilst you can't with the others.

You are right that SNG Wiz allows you to analyse hands where somebody has limped or raised in front rather than just open push/call AI situations - one thing about SNG Wiz is that the default calling ranges are kind of funky so you'll need to adjust those.

No. From what I understand it's some fairly complex math.

no its not complicated at all.
all it is, is addition and multiplication.

furthermore, doing the calculations actulaly teaches you wat the hell the numbers actulaly mean. Thats probably the most important part.

Formula please? I've googled this many times and can't find it. The most referenced site about ICM on google and 2+2 seems to be down.

It's a great calculator and I use it a good bit, but it doesn't allow me to do the math by hand as vqc is suggesting.
