Default 2 pair on board, lead river? ($22 6-max)

Villian was 62/5. The flat call on the turn then the min-raise on the river had alarm bells going off for me. Can I fold the river as played? And should I have check-called river instead?

    behind you with an axe
With a bigger stack I might call, but you'd be putting your whole torney on the line.

Once he called your turn bet I would C-C the river.
I dont think he has a hand like TT-JJ, KK,AA given the preflop action, so his calling range on the turn is 99, Ax, Qx, 8x and maybe some sort of str8 or flush draws if he is bad.

Vs this range you will not get called by much that beats you, he may call with 99 or Ax, but I would rather check and let him bet some of the hands I beat and keep the pot smaller in case I am beat

I would also bet the flop
