Should have I simply folded on the flop? I called thinking that I he made it so cheap I had the right odds to call here. I folded the river because it seems whenever an opponents draw hits they tend to raise hugely

he didn't raise huge, you only have 1k back

fold the flop because hitting may not give you the best hand. Much better to peel on like a 9 3 2 flop. Raising would be OK.

As played don't raise the turn, it's pretty hard for him to call with worse. That's another good reason to fold flop, you don't rate to get paid off when you hit.

good fold on river, you were hoping he had QJ or a straight draw, they all got there.

Agree w drmc, I think raising the turn is the biggest mistake tho.

make it 595 pre, shove all flops. you'll be amazed by how often they call and fold the flop

if your going to put money in on the flop, id rather lead or c/r. then you can make a pot committing turn bet when you pick up a pair or draw. (theres a ton of turn cards that help your hand)

this hand would have been a lot more fun had the Jc hit on the turn.

U actually have pot odds to call vs. TPTK here and with your backdoor equity, you're never really drawing dead. I'd call all the time in a cash game, in a tourney it's a bit dicey on this board where Qs complete a lot of draws and 2-pair hands.
Playing big pots at small stakes.
