    so the turn made my decision a whole lot easier.
    should i have been more aggressive on the flop?
    from memory i think i wanted to over bet it or even shove but i thought this would be too ugly. problem was he liked to call as we can see.

    I play the flop pretty passively against a player that could limp wide from the sb but has the potential to call lots of pfrs. I don't mind a bet against an average player but otherwise with your reads I check behind. Stacks are awkward for getting tricky on a wet flop.

    I agree with Saucy, I check behind on the flop. Your stack really isn't deep enough to take a stab with a marginal hand on a very drawy flop. We're obviously getting it in on the turn though.
