Jeez, seems like a pretty easy shove back preflop, particularly with SB's stack so short. Gives you two ways to win the hand rather than just one.

As played, I call. If he had an ace, why would he be shoving here and trying to get you out of the hand?

Thats quite remarkable, I haven't even thought about shoving preflop. Could you explain me in what situations i fold and what situations i push or call? Thanks alot man, i've learned alot from you already!!

Nowhere near an easy shove. He's last in chips, he's getting some pot odds, and it's a $1.2 tourney, so he's calling pretty wide. At least 18% I'd say. With 18% calling range he needs to be raising at least 40% for this to be a shove. Some folks obviously do raise that much, but against an unknown player (how come he's an unknown player? he's been sitting right next to you for seven levels!) I much prefer a call. Fold wouldn't be horrible either, mostly because it might induce more steals and hence more profitable restealing spots in the future.

Calling this flop would be a really strong play.

OK, maybe you're right, it's isn't an "easy" shove but I still do think it is a shove. I set the open raise range to 25% and the call range to 12% and it was breakeven. I wouldn't be surprised to see hands like suited connectors here. Plus you see players at $1.20 tourneys do the weirdest things after minraising (ie. folding despite massive pot odds).

That said, I don't hate a call either provided that you don't second guess yourself on this kind of flop.
