Calling the miniraise pre is ok, but be very cautious postflop. I don't play $2's but I'd expect his range to be somewhere around 99+ AQ+, all of which now beat you and wont fold to your small flop bet. Don't make an effort to get him off JJ-KK and just check down hoping to bink an 8
