I don't think I should have played this hand in the first place. This min bet on the flop is quite peculiar and made me think he was trying to steal it. However, this happened to me once before and I made the same incorrect read so I'm starting to think these min bets are actually a strong hand but; he wants to bet but doesn't want to scare me of.

Yeah just fold to the reraise. Its usually not a steal and your hand is tough to play even if you catch a flop
