    CO: t1500 M = 50
    BTN: t1420 M = 47.33
    SB: t1580 M = 52.67
    Hero (BB): t1500 M = 50
    UTG: t1500 M = 50
    UTG+1: t1500 M = 50
    UTG+2: t1500 M = 50
    MP1: t1500 M = 50
    MP2: t1500 M = 50

Pre Flop: (t30) Hero is BB with 6 J
    2 folds, UTG+2 calls t20, 1 fold, MP2 raises to t40, 2 folds, SB calls t30, Hero calls t20, UTG+2 calls t20

    Flop: (t160) 2 3 6 (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets t80, UTG+2 folds, MP2 raises to t200, SB folds, Hero folds

I'm starting to realise that calling preflop here is just bad. Jonathan Little says that when someone leads out here it is almost a fairly marginal hand and if his stack is the appropriate size, he shoves on them every time. However, how else could I play my hand here?

I agree about pre. If you start with 3k chips and have J8s its a lot better of a situation

As played there's really no good options due to your mistake pre. You could bet/fold the best hand a lot if MP2 plays aggressively. Planning to c/c isn't great either because there are very few safe turns. I think your bet/fold is okay, there's plenty worse hands that will call in $2 mtts and taking the pot when they all miss is perfectly fine
