    Default Some interesting spots...

Villain was 14/12 and right before this he made the same play with TT. This is also the final table bubble of a 90 man.

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, 26 Tournament, 500/1000 Blinds 125 Ante (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    SB (t9142)
    BB (t9660)
    UTG (t25606)
    MP (t33317)
    Hero (CO) (t17554)
    Button (t6356)

    Hero's M: 7.80

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q, A
1 fold, UTG bets t2250, 1 fold, Hero???

BB is pretty lose...My default is that this is a shove but idk. I have been having difficulty dealing with the HU portion. The blinds are so big compared to our stacks that unexploitable shoves start to get mixed in with exploiting my villain and I never know which one to pick. Trying to gain more control over my HU game seems to be a better way to put it.

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, 13 Tournament, 3000/6000 Blinds 750 Ante (2 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    Hero (SB) (t74666)
    BB (t195334)

    Hero's M: 7.11

Preflop: Hero is SB with 2, K
    Hero??

IMO just started getting back to MTT's.

H1 same play with TT combined with the fact that he may be positionally aware? UGGG stinky but with the shorter stacks and bubbling final table and him firing UTG, id fold it and wait (hate it but think id have to). I would like a 3bet AI if i knew he could fold to it PF or call with worse. I'm not convinced that he's weak here tho sooo.

H2 HU is whole diff beast. I think HU should be played by your instinct cuz u know the guy better than you can describe to anybody else. You being out of position tho I think fold/shove are your only options. That ones on u i think.

Probly not terribly helpful but meh whatever. BTW u still keepin up on your OP anymore or what? I used to follow it in my MTT days.

I've thought about starting it back up again. I had to quit playing due to life issues and have only been back grinding since mid-April. It was helping me while I was using it so its probably a good idea.

I hope you slid the bar over and went all in both times

Hand 1 - 14/12 are reg stats which means he's probably playing aggressively on the final table bubble. If you don't shove here then you are terrible.

Hand 2 - I definitely know what you mean about unexploitable shoves vs. exploiting terrible opponents. Shoving is +EV here but limping and outplaying him postflop may be better if he really sucks. The problem though is limping is only slightly better than shoving if your assumptions about him are perfect. If they're a little off (which is usually the case in a turbo where you don't have time to get great reads) then you might be making a huge mistake by not shoving. It's much better to shove in these spots unless you're really sure, you're probably just running bad HU if you're doubting yourself for shoving here.

Yeah I did shove both times but I thought the spots were more interesting than the results. I lost both hands but don't really care.

Villain in hand 1 was a reg but not one that I was terribly familiar with. AQ has been some what of a trouble hand for me along with TT. Sometimes it just a cooler but I hate chalking things up to that (even though its sometimes unavoidable). I feel like there is always something that could be learned.

The thing with HU is that I have been making unexploitable shoves and my opponent just happen to wake up with a good calling hand and I lose the match. Maybe this is something that is always just going to be a balance and do the best I can.

    Hey Iris,

I'm a reg in your 45 and 90 mans... good to see you here. I havent' been on FTR for a long time. You probably think I am a huge donk, I play a very very LAG style in these late- but as for the hands you posted, I shove AQ for sure vs this agg reg- K2 hand: shoving is good def. but I can see trying to play it differently if we are against someone really bad.
