In general I believe in playing passively oop in this spot.

    Check call flop. Check/fold turn.

Checking the flop does not take ace hands out of your range.
Calling the flop gets MP3 to play his non A hands cautiously on the turn.
When you check turn and MP3 bets, only the ballsiest snger will double barrel so you can pretty confidently fold.
If he checks the turn back you can be confident he's not got an A because otherwise he'd be going for value. So you can lead the river.
    Make sense?

looks fine, flop is close, both lines have merit.

I think you played it fine, villian can be calling your flop bet with a 9 or even lower PP, once you checked the turn his bet was very small, so calling it makes sense, check-call a small bet on the river is also the correct move IMO

My comment refers to the river, I have nothing to add or diagree about regarding the rest of the play or the comments posted above.
I definitely believe the river should be a check call.
First of all you have showdown value. If you lead the river and villains shoves (or even just reraises) you then have a difficult decision. A check on the river is unlikely to see a villain then shove, having looked at the betting patterns to that point.
This hand is an example of controlling the pot by checking the river oop. You are facing one bet for showdown rather than two.
