    Default Review my positional statistics

Alright after about a three year downtime I am starting to get back into SnG's again which are my game of choice. I have played about 60 $5 DON SnG's with a total of 3800 hands, I ran all of these through PokerTracker. I am a little bit new to the tracker and statistical software like this in general. I have been trying to mine the data bit by bit, one thing I noticed that seemed a little bit odd to me were my positional stats.

Wanted some of you guys to look at them to tell me if this is normal or if I should adjust my game somehow when in the BB or SB.

Currently my "Amount Won" is positive for all of the positions except for the BB, SB and position 7, and I have significant chip loses in those two positions which bring my overall "Amount Won" into the negative. I attribute the position 7 loss simply to my tight game with that many players on the board.

Here is a link with my stats, feedback is much appreciated.

position stats are pretty skewed in SnG's because the table shrinks fast, and blinds increase, etc, etc. losing CHIPS in BB should be common because as blinds increase people steal at a higher and higher frequency, as well you should be stealing from the button and SB at a higher frequency. also because of ICM chips aren't all worth the same amount depending on stacks, etc so makes these stats pretty irrelevant.

I wouldn't worry about these stats as much in SnG's they are far more reflective in Cash games were blinds are a constant, table is generally full, and the stats reflect actual $. the most important part of a sng is making +EV shoves near and on the bubble. posting bubble hands and tourny histories will be far more helpful then getting feedback on these stats.

but i do find it strange that your button is so low, and MP are so high, i would conclude your probably missing tons of +EV shoves when blinds are high, and that you are to loose in MP. Also sample size also makes any stats like this pretty useless.

posting what hands you play where is so much better than this, esp over 3800 hands.

Everyone will lose money from the blinds, unless they run exceptionally well in those positions. Remember you are being forced to put money in the pot with trash like 83o. In position 7, you should be playing few hands, so winning or losing here is more an indication of how well you ran in that position.

Your VPIP in later positions and particularly on the button seems low. You night want to use the tourney trimmer to post a whole tournament so people can advise on whether you are missing spots to steal. There have been a couple of whole tournament posts recently and it would be worth you reading those. You will see hands like 86o being shoved. Altenatively post hands as has been suggested.

Mostly your stats don't look too bad IMHO. Here are mine to compare with http://i743.photobucket.com/albums/xx74/puhina/poker/pos-stat_100727.png although I have even less games than you here (about 50 games of STT SnG $1.10 Turbo DoN). My games are about break even, rake included. The funny distribution towards early positins comes from trigger happy crowds in this level, on CO & Btn there is not much to steal any more .

But back to your stats: For each of the positions you should see the hands in the box below and click twice on amount won (or lost in this case) to sort from biggest loss. They are probably your lost all-ins so check if there are any you shouldn't have done. This will probably have the most effect on your game. Other than that you probably should consider loosening up a bit in positions 5-7.

    good luck to your games
