Hard to say based on the information you've given us. Pre-flop raise is standard. Depending on the table, you might raise a little more if you expect callers. The fact that the opp just called makes me think that we're not looking at a premium hand like KK or QQ. Again, hard to say since it's early in the tourney and we aren't likely to have reads.

Now on the flop you led out with a 2/3 pot bet. Not too bad. The min re-raise is the sign of an idiot, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't have anything. This is where you need to put your opponent on a range. What would he re-raise you with? A-K? K-Q? K-x? PP that just flopped a third? Is he semi-bluffing the flush draw? In my experience, most people on a flush draw would just call. The fact that he just called your re-raise means either flush draw, trips, or K-x in my opinion without benefit of any reads.

Now with the turn being another spade, you checked. When your opp goes all-in, I think you have to fold there. It's early in the tourney and you can't win even if you double up here, but you'll certainly can get knocked out if you lose. Yeah it sucks to fold, but you'd still have about 1000 chips left and since it's not a turbo tourney, you'd have time to make it up.

Once BTN raises either jam it over or call and check/shove turn. Since the board is kind of wet I would just shove over his raise. Don't make cute raises hoping to get more money in the middle. Forcing players to make decisions for a lot of chips is a great way to get maximum value on your hands.

Seems you played Preflop well. This early with that many chips in I'm calling.

Preflop raise more, at $2 anyone calling 60 is calling a 100, then as revolving said jam over his raise. making it 100 pre allows you to lead for ~ 180, then he'll make a bigger raise, makes shoving over his raise less of an over bet an easier to get value from.

yea, nothing minraise / then folds to a shove except air. Which this probably isnt.
