With such a weak flush draw and with three players still to act after you on the flop I just check and see if we can spike a third spade on the turn for free.

Dump it. Again reverse implied odds errr. You have an 8 high flush if the card comes. You don't necessarily have live cards and the flush so aren't ahead for whatever happens on future streets.
You have enjoyed your free flop with dead money. Too early to get involved and no good reason to want to. One of the players will have an ace. Well no definitely but most likely - I mean five are seeing the flop!
5s 6s is all you are looking for to know you are good. And like that will happen?!?

Umm, Hero should never ever fold here. There is no bet to call!

c/f to any bet. Classic example of getting sucked into a hand from the blinds.

You could call a small bet if it picks up a caller or 2 but mostly the turn will brick
and you might even get good odds on the turn. Before you know it you've spewed
a few hundred chips which is annoying with shallow stacks.

Plus if you hit your flush and bet for value it's hard if he comes over the top but mostly
you will probably just get no action apart from maybe As but still unlikely.

Check, I might call a small bet if there are multiple callers

at low stakes I'll c/c a small bet if their are a few callers, especially on this board where theirs a good chance a player has an Ace and won't be able to fold it. i obviously wont call a big bet, but if i do call a small bet and hit my flush I'm not worried about getting it in, because i think theirs a lot more AX, 2 Pair, sets, etc that are willing to get it in then their are higher flushes when you hit the turn, especially if a Ks, Qs Js comes which makes it even more unlikely they have a higher flush.
