Flopped flush in the BB - $1.10 45 man
Hello.
I decided to try my first MT SnG with a buyin greater than $0.25 this morning. This hand occurred maybe 2/3 of the way through the tourney, about 15 players left. Villain was extremely hard to read. Had made some bold bluffs but had also checked down a full house where the only possible hand that would have beat him was QQ, with the queen falling on the river, or 44 for quads. Maybe he didn't notice what he had? Anyhow I basically have no clue what to put him on with the early limp here.
I'm pretty sure I played this ok. I can't very well fold to the raise on the river. My question is mostly do I want to control the size of the pot more here with my giant stack. I could pretty much have coasted to the final table playing only the nuts. Do I want to get him all-in here when he could have a flush that beats my lowly 72? He could also have boated up when the 8 paired obviously.
