why not just flat and set or forget. you have decent position, and its still relatively early in the tourney. i guess if you really wanted you could raise 2.5 to try to steal some blinds, but then youre gonna have a little tougher implied odds

I'd shove it, but my guess is that it's only marginally +EV

yea with callers wide @ something like 44+, A8s, A9 each shoving 44 is +.23 here. 22 here I think about, 44 is standard unless there's bubble or I know both blinds are very loose callers and I'd like to get it in with better equity.

I used to shove these (baby pairs) on the cutoff with 12-14 bb or a good bit deeper on button but when watching one of glitler's videos he explains that small pairs suck like 12-20 bb deep because you can't get away from them pre really and you're never ahead when called.

did do cheers. one of main reasons i was asking was because while ago i changed 'max qualified stack size' on wiz setting to 15 (after watching its video with a certain trainer), however it seemed to be suggesting pushes which seemed a bit wide at times.

what setting do you guys have it at?

"Max qualified stack size" does not change the way the Wizard calculates the profitability of a shove. The only thing it does is determine whether or not the ticks, exclamation marks and crosses are added to the hands in the tournament view. Purely cosmetic. But it's a good idea to have it at least on 15 or else you might miss some spots.
