Default $10cubed, final 2tables with AKs

This is the $10 1r1a, looks like ~14 are left. Villain is playing 15/13 thru 40 hands and we have some history. He opened from the CO with 17bbs and I shoved A9s in the BB; he calls with TT and holds. The very last hand I minraised 7c7h, he flats Ac6c in BB. Board is Kc 2c 5c 5h 9d. I check back flop, make a small turn bet and check back river. On to the hand in question:

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em Tournament, 4000/8000 Blinds 1000 Ante (7 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    SB (t272284)
    BB (t75176)
    UTG (t101083)
    Hero (MP1) (t311598)
    MP2 (t180456)
    CO (t192828)
    Button (t254353)

    Hero's M: 16.40

    Preflop: Hero is MP1 with K, A
1 fold, Hero bets t16000, 3 folds, SB raises to t40000, 1 fold, Hero ...

Avg stack is around 15BB's, so we both probably have top 3 stacks

I don't mind flatting here esp. since you're s00ted and have position.

I'd just cram, he might hero with AQ/AJ given your image + tilt from last hand and will fold small pairs I would think. if he folds AQ/AJ he might also fold AK. And hopefully he + rest of table will be afraid to play back light going forward. Also don't mind flipping here for a huge cl you can abuse.

If you flat you should get fancy on some flops, I don't like implied odds playing fit or fold.

yeah if you flat here it is to shove over his c-bet pretty much every time.

standard play here is just to shove.

bah, obviously shoving is super standard. I guess I was just reading into it that fjuanl was looking for different options here.

so just thinking out loud here, is there any merit to the idea that juan has a significant edge with a good chipstack over the other 13 remaining? yeah having the superstack is awfully sexy tho.

there's still 2 options that haven't been talked about...one of which is a little silly

4-betting to like $100-120k might work, it looks a hella scarier than shoving, and he might fold something like TT.

I think you will have to turn in your membership card if you want to fold AKs here.

I'm not folding and 4bet looks strong/makes stacks weird to play if villain just flats. There is also always the chance they have AT or w/e and call your jam.
