    Default River fireworks

$15 buyin, recently moved no real reads. Had just enough time in my timebank to open up sharkscope, saw that the button has 110 games played, $14 avg buyin, -20% ROI. Probably safe to assume he's pretty terrible and could be raising a one card flush here. CO was about 20/10 over a small sample (10 hands or so).

    NL Holdem $30(BB) Merge
    SB ($1,327)
    BB ($1,795)
    UTG ($1,700)
    UTG+1 ($2,000)
    Hero ($1,945)
    MP1 ($2,283)
    MP2 ($2,044)
    MP3 ($2,080)
    CO ($2,110)
    BTN ($2,716)

    Dealt to Hero Q A

fold, fold, Hero raises to $80, fold, fold, fold, CO calls $80, BTN calls $80, fold, fold

    FLOP ($285) K K 9

Hero checks, CO checks, BTN checks

    TURN ($285) K K 9 7

Hero checks, CO checks, BTN checks

    RIVER ($285) K K 9 7 A

Hero bets $214, CO raises to $580, BTN raises to $2,636 (AI), Hero cries...
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

start with the assumption that terrible players will slowplay monsters till the river. Hard to believe the CO will raise with less than Jc and BTN would have to be the biggest drooling idiot to shove over two with worse.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

Its pretty normal for a somewhat decent player to go 100+ games with -20% roi. With or without a read I think its a pretty easy fold on the river and I like cbetting flop a little better than checking

In my experience low stakes weekend tournies are filled with even more total droolers, which is why I even contemplated a call here.

baudib is right though, they do love to slowplay their monsters. And they probably would flat preflop with K9/K7/AK...

Anyways, I folded after not too much thought. CO was slowplaying K9 and button was a major drooler with QdJc.

In the lower stakes I play, very often the case is a J or T of clubs or even a Kx more than a full house. I don't know how much that fact justifies a call if this hand ws played in lower stakes say 1-10$ buy in.
