    Hero bets how much???

villain is chap who flat called from bb in other thread from yesterday. he had a10 suited. he d been quite solid until now. when he was bigger stacked he was raising/stealing a fair bit, normally 3bb raise.

this was the 7th hand heads up. my image is tag but always with the goods at showdown. id shoved on him when he d limped once or twice. he folded on those occasions. i dont think hes trappy.

On flop I think leading out or check-raising are both better than check-calling.

On river I'd either make a really small bet (~800) to induce a look-up with an Ace or a bluff, or shove over to look bluffy and get max value from hands he's willing to call with.

cant recall why i didnt lead - think i wanted to mix it up as i had been leading a bit. if we check raise are we prepared to play for stacks therefore?

i think if he had an ace he wouldve raised pre. i dont dislike the shove but i dont know what he s gonna call with. if he has a queen i think he wouldve fired again on the turn.

Yeah I'd be tempted to check or maybe min-bet the river to try to induce a bluff. Gonna be hard to get any money out of him here no matter what you do though, since he likely has absolutely no hand.

bet like $900, he could call with K-high or try to get fancy.

I would have probably lead on the Flop, but the question was about the river. I think you might be able to get 3XBB here. If you really didnt feel that would get a call based on his play. I would go 2XBB, which it seems like everyone else is saying.
