so i succeeded in bleeding a good few chips here. villain wasnt good, limping from utg at these blinds. also he was calling oop, and another time called a 350 raise when blinds at 50 (again oop).
problem was i had never seen what he was holding at showdown. didnt seem too trciky post flop but could well be calling with air on the flop.

any scope for checking flop? or could i have put less in the pot?

I think you played it fine, now fold the river. If you had KK and the flop came rainbow I would check behind on the flop however. Maybe you could bet 300 rather than 350 on the flop, but not a big deal really.
