Default Bubble Play - was this right?

This was on the bubble of a 5.50 45 man sng, wondering if I should have sat this one out and waited for the short stack to bust or if this should have been played as is or played differently. Advice is welcome!

(I mistakenly put this on the wrong forum at first - mods feel free to delete the other one in the Beginners forum, I read the rules after posting)

    shove pre to start with.

as played check the flop, he's going to shove if he has Ax or a FD anyway and you don't want take away the chance for him to bluff.
