Default Close to Final Table w AT

Opponent sat down 4 hands ago. We are 13 left, I am 11th. his first hand: Big stack on his right 3xed and he shoved 7bb , raiser folded.

Here I chose to call. He has done it before, and I expect him to resteal shove w a lot I am ahead. Am I correct?

If he is not horrible, he had a hand the first time he shoved because he had 0 FE.

I'd rather just open shove this hand on the CO. As played, I have no idea if you can fold. But there's so much money to be made by open shoving and 3bet shoving (once you have a better stack) that I just hate stacking off here.

Yeah I like shoving pre a lot better. When you make this raise, I'd expect to get called by someone a decent amount at these stakes, which is not what we want with this stack size. If you raise here, it should be with the plan of snapping off a shove because you think someone will resteal with a wide range.

yes you are right. It is better to just shove.
