just checked p/stars, hadnt typed anything on this guy. but i recall he was playing sensibly. didnt see anything at showdown. other things of note, the other plyrs at the table were weak, and my image was a bit looser than normal, due to shoving when quite short and bullying. only a hand or 2 though.

You definitely don't want to get into a confrontation with the other big stack if you can help it, but on the other hand if he's not terrible he doesn't want to get it in with you either unless he has a huge hand. I'm torn between flatting and 3-betting. If he's not terrible he'll probably fold almost anything not KK+ here if you 3-bet. I'm usually too passive/fearful to try that though so I'd just call.

If he's sensible then you have a lot of fold equity. Make a strong-looking re-raise to 1500, fold to shove.

I think it's close between shipping or flatting pre although I will lean towards flatting versus players who I believe are opening tighter. I'd like to point out that no one is only calling KK+ here blind versus blind though. QQ, AK at the very tightest.

Also I think 3betting to 1500 is pretty bad unless you know exactly how villain will respond with his range. I think this 3bet actually widens his stacking range (really player dependant) to 99 plus and AQ. Also you might get flatted alot when you 3bet with 1 psb behind. What do you do on flops you miss when he checks or shoves into you.

If you 3bet pot will be his 3800 + your 1500 and you are getting 2300/5300 which is 2.3:1.
