Default An interesting hand in a $55 mtt

Villian is an MTT pro absolute monster. So you know his thinking mindset etc, is one who thinks on various levels. Hero here plays her hand as if she has the nuts, but kind of a pretty risky line in my eyes.....thoughts/comments?

Nice play. Seems like you'll get just about any hand to fold that doesn't include the A or possibly the K. I like the check behind on the turn since you have a read that villain is good. A weak player will read it as weak, but a thinking player will see the check behind followed by the raise on the river as super-scary.

Too risky for my taste but I'm pretty weak/tight.

I'd fold pre and on flop, river since we're here is cool.

    ps I removed results
    and converted

Something weird happened when you converted it, dr. Says 7 handed but we only have 6 stacks now. Is villain UTG?

yeah V is UTG and has 120-150k iirc

    pre spew

    flop spew

now that you got to river seems okay

    why is pre a fold?

vs an "MTT pro monster" we aren't going to win enough pots without a set, or big enough pots with a set, to justify a call imo. If the blinds were very loose passive and you felt confident both would come along and not squeeze I would not mind as much. If the opener was weak or super tight calling would also be OK.

Say it comes 943, what is the plan? You're usually either going to have to call down as the board gets worse, or make a raise that will amount to a bluff since you will almost never get called by worse. If you're going to do that on the 943 flop, you'd rather have KQ so you have some outs.

Raise flop or fold flop. This isn't a good spot to float
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
