Default AJo one off button, what could I have done differently?

I hope this is the right place to post this, I'm new here and <removed as it suggests result of hand> and trying to work out if I made a good play or not. I'd appreciate any advice, criticism etc. I've read through a lot of material here but this is the first hand I'm posting.

Apologies if I get the formatting wrong.

This is a $10 buy in MTT with about 2k people on FT, about 1100 left.

I'm sitting on a stack of about 4.5k chips, blinds are at 50/100. I'm one off the button and there's one limper from UTG before me. [Edit: UTG's stack is 15k chips at this point and he's throwing them around]

    I raise to 300 with

Everyone folds back to UTG who flat calls me almost instantly.

    Flop is

At this point I think I'm definitely ahead, UTG has been in 6 of the last 9 hands limping or flat calling raises, never raising himself. I'm a little concerned about kings and queens on further streets in case he has one and I'd like the 750 chips to myself so I bet the pot out because I wouldn't put it past him to be on 2 low cards hoping for a straight draw, or a flush draw. (In 2 of the last hands he's been in that made it to showdown he had shown completely random cards that had been lucky on the flop, namely and ).

He thinks a few seconds then calls making the pot 2250.

    Turn is

I really don't think this helps either of us and I still think I'm ahead here so I bet the pot size again, half hoping to take away the pot without any further chance to draw, and half hoping he calls (this is where I assume I was naive). He shoves and I feel like with my depleted chip stack I can do little but call it (and that's probably phrased a little badly - I still figured I was ahead here, or at worst drawing against the same cards I had)

He flips over <removed per request, will say the result later>

A couple of questions spring to mind:

    (1) Would you consider it a good/bad play to play my hand from the position (1 off the button) in the way I did pre-flop?
    (2) How would you have changed my play here if it was you in the hand? [Edit: removed results]
    (3) Please critique anything else you notice about my play on this hand if there's something I didn't even think about

    Thank you!

hey welcome if you can post the whole converted hand it will help get responses, especially because we don't know his stack size.

Also don't post results, as they may influences people's opinions on your line, and we want to be as objective as we can.

first raising pre's fine, i would usually make it 400 here but WE.

since he checks flop you definitely need to bet but i wouldn't pot it, the boards not super drawy and your way ahead of his range (from your reads) i would bet around 3/4 pot.

on turn i would raise ~1/2-3/4 again to set up a river shove.

from your reads sounds like his calling range includes a ton of weaker J's and draws, which aren't folding ever. so bet bet bet line seems best

Thanks for the reply, have removed the result as requested - my bad. Sadly I don't have the whole hand to convert, I just wrote it down on paper from the 'last hand' option on FTP. I'll try and get that for next time I post I assume I have to enable and look through hand histories?
