Default AA hits set - flush draw board

Bleh. I think I played every street poorly.

My thinking on the flop is that it's unlikely he has the case A here, so I might want to let him catch up. I don't like the flush draw, but I do have redraw equity to compensate. Should I always bet to protect my hand on the flop?

On the turn, I just turned into a station. Should I just jam it here every time?

Assuming I should nearly always fold the river. My set is only a bluff catcher here obviously. If he has any kind of hand at all he's probably going to try to see a showdown.

raise more Preflop. around 900, on flop you definitely need to bet. this flop either hit his hand, gave him a draw or he has a lower PP which usually won't hit. theirs not a lot of turns where he is going to "catch up" that are going to call any of your bets. as played on flop jam turn.

What fulsky said. Although checking that flop is fine IMO. Definitely raise the turn.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

definitely bet the flop, way too many drops and if you check and later start betting you won't get a lot of action - your line will look too fishy.

As played, definitely fold the river.

I agree with KoRnholio in that I think checking the flop can be fine.

At first I hated checking flop, but then I studied stacks and checking the flop through you are going to stack a way wider range and a draw is only getting there ~20% of the time and it's not like he always has one. Could go either way.

+1 to raising turn and I don't think it's close. One of the worst rivers came and he still got his value so we may as well make him pay with a draw / pair on the turn.

Preflop sizing is fine, only reason to make it more is if he's going to call anyway (which is likely at a $3 buy-in vs an UTG raise). Definitely put him all-in on the turn.

Bet like Fulsky said, more PF. At these stakes he is prolly calling. You must bet such a coordinated flop, with the intention off putting his whole stack in the middle on the river.

I'd probably bet the flop (also raising a bit more pre).
As played, I'm shoving over on turn allin.
