Default NL50 FR Full House VS Full house

Bad play on my side?i think so because i gave him a free card. but can i really put him on a 8 and can i fold this hand? or should i stop betting as soon as the other 8 pops up?

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (8 handed)

    MP1 ($42.70)
    MP2 ($42.15)
    Hero (CO) ($59.70)
    Button ($57.10)
    SB ($55.40)
    BB ($44.40)
    UTG ($77.25)
    UTG+1 ($67.35)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A, 2
    1 fold, UTG+1 bets $1.50, 1 fold, MP2 calls $1.50, Hero calls $1.50, 1 fold, SB calls $1.25, BB calls $1

    Flop: ($7.50) 2, 8, 2 (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG+1 bets $5, 1 fold, Hero calls $5, 2 folds

    Turn: ($17.50) 8 (2 players)
    UTG+1 bets $8, Hero raises to $16, UTG+1 calls $8

    River: ($49.50) 5 (2 players)
    UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $7, UTG+1 calls $7

    Total pot: $63.50 | Rake: $3

high light to see the results

UTG+1 had 9, 8 (full house, eights over twos).
Hero had A, 2 (full house, twos over eights).
    Outcome: UTG+1 won $60.50

firstly, don't post results. they should bear no relevance on the discussion and might skew some peoples' opinions on the hand.

Do you have any stats or reads on him indicating that he's capable of opening 8x in EP? If he is or you're not sure, I'd just go into calldown/eval mode as you're likely not getting called by worse when you raise.

no stats so i don't really know..but if i raise on the flop he folds...if i don't bet he gets a free turn card.. when i hit the lower full house i shouldn't raise no more? even against 1 player?
