    Default 99 on Q88 duo-tone board, villain donk-leads

This hand is really arb and I'm not really sure what to do. I seem to recall villain as being loose, but on checking his stats he was 15/9/2.0 over 33 hands. I think it's probably HEM screwing up and not providing stats UP TO that hand. My HUD may have been lagging behind and I was seeing a different set of filtered stats. Assume villain is on the looser side with a predilection for calling in the BB.

His donk-bet range seems really narrow as 8x, strong Q's normally check flop. I expect him to only be betting here Q9, QT, QJ, some draws or air.

Do we just have to suck it up and shove, given his range?

Edit - what I mean is that the ratio of his made hands to bluffing hands seems high.

    BB bets 600, Hero ????

I've only been using HEM for a about a month or so. So I'm still getting used to stats and how to use them. But it seems to me that a key piece of information here is what your Flop Continuation Bet percentage is. If you're up above 60%, he probably expects you to bet with a lot of hands that he can check/raise like 8x or AQ.

If you're lower than that, say 30-40%, then he would definitely be betting with 8x, Qx, as well as flush draws, straight draws, and you'll see alot more bluffs.

If you read that he's looser, he could be drawing on a flush, or even have a Q or 8. At this point I'd fold with about 20BB left and get it in when your sure to have him beat.

    I'm with T00LZ.

I can't see how you can make a case for calling here. There are so many turn cards that you don't want to see. So it's either fold or shove. And given the stack sizes, I'd dump the hand and look for a better spot.

If he through out 600 chips with air it was a well placed Donk bet. Is a strong Q or an 8 for that matter going to protect against the flush draw? It looks like a bet I would make with a Q or an 8 considering the board.

I am laying them down and going to the next one.

shoving, flush draw seems to be the top of his range here.

I'd let this go considering that both of you are double stacked. If BB had <10x BB behind I think I'd just shove over.
