Default Holdem manager and PT on MTTs

Do any of you use these programs when you are playing MTTs?

I havent used any statistics program since i was playing cash i couple of years ago and was wondering if they are any help at all in mtts, since the play and ranges changes som dramatically because of the stacksize changes between lvls...

Are there any settings (in PT or HM) for just using hands from say the last 2 levels and/or, using the stats for a given player just between lvls 2-4, 5-7 etc, over several different of MTTs ?

In PT3 you can do just from the current blind level, I think HEM had it also. I have used a couple times down to 2 then FTs.

It depends on the amount of tables and the BIs you're playing but yes, I would get one or the other. It turns out that people don't really change their play all that much before push/fold.

And, often the stats still help - for example you can expect that a guy who ran 15/14 with a 7% 3 bet when you all had chips will be jamming wide when stacks get short.

In HEM you can filter for the current session, but I'm almost positive you can't do it by a specific blind level. They also have a new feature where a popup shows HUD stats by stack size. I was pretty excited for it but it has a poor layout that makes it hard to understand

Definitely worth it to use a HUD, just don't over-rely on it

i ended up buying the program and must say im very happy with the extra info, ive added a HUD config and added a filter too remove stats when 6 handed or shorter.
Ive got plans to start tinkering with the stats/ BB filter but i havent decided how many categories to use. As for filtering per session or blind lvls i havent found that feature yet but i havent spent enough time looking through all the faqs and forum threads yet...
