    Hero (UTG) (t1720)
    MP (t2500)
    CO (t990)
    Button (t1770)

    BB (t1655)

    Hero's M: 7.64

Preflop: Hero is UTG with ,
Hero bets t375, 4 folds, BB calls t225

    Flop: (t825) , , (2 players)
    BB checks, Hero checks

    Turn: (t825) (2 players)
    BB bets t1280 (All-In), Hero?

perhaps i shouldve shoved pre. as played?

thought at time villain was tight, just checked wiz and the only pot he was active in was when he was bb. on that occasion there were 3 plyrs, pot 300; he checked, button bet 150, sb folded, he shoved remaining 1280. board was Kh 2d 3d.

seems an ace comprises a big part of his range, but what would he flat with oop and not shove over?

I think you played it fine, now curse the poker gods and move on. An ace or two clubs are a BIG part of his range at this point, and I think he was waiting to check-raise you had you bet the flop.

Plenty of hands that opp could have flatted with preflop. Hands like AT+, Acxc and QcJc come to mind.

I wouldn't shove preflop either, you want them to call you with hands like Ax and two clubs since they're putting their money in bad - but then you have to be able to let it go when they hit their outside chance on the flop.
