JJ facing raise/shove

    Default JJ facing raise/shove

New to the table, so no reads on villains. The raiser had a bigger stack, so the raise could be any hand almost, but the shove is what put me off on the hand.

After a few more hands, I learned the villain that shoved was also shoving virtually any ace, or any two face cards.

The previous hand I doubled through with 99 against A10o. I folded this hand, but should I have called it?

    what's the buy-in?

I'm probably not folding JJ with an M under 6 very often.

Buy in is 2.20 (180 man)

My M is low, but I was sitting around 22nd of 38 left, with 18 getting paid.

Edit: Took out the second set of ranges I typed in. Wrong hand.

Unless they are really nitty and only playing premium hands (which by your ranges they aren't) this is a call. You have to make a move soon, and even though you don't have first-in vigourish you have a strong enough hand to compensate.

I was close to calling initially, but I've been working on my ranges lately, and I think I talked myself out of calling it. UTG snap folded, which had me even more confused about it.
