I hate being a killjoy, but I don't think any really useful information can be gleaned from this at all. You'd have to call into question the sampling procedures, from where were the pictures pulled (and was this a standard across all countries), were those who submitted photos chosen and asked, or did they volunteer etc.

Aside from all of that it seems logical to me that averaging out pictures of faces will just lead to a symmetrical and unblemished face which will usually be fairly attractive

agree with renton though, even if the sampling etc is biased etc it is not a shocker that countries that are less genetically diverse have less attractive women

You can try it. Find a mugshot of some non-attractive woman, open photoshop, cut her face in half (vertically ), delete other half, and make mirror image of the leftover, and nifty put one next to another. You will see that ending results is much prettier then teh original not-so-symmetrical girl.

Most of these are fairly attractive but I all else being equaly, I pass on Welsh, Hungarian, Korean & Somoan.

passing on the welsh girl seems crazy, me personally maybe only the samoan and the hungarian. not too keen on the filipino. anyway it's not too surprising I guess but they all more or less fit into my preconceived stereotypes of how people from certain places look. Like the German looks German.

oh and being japanese i am disappointed with team japan's efforts but meh, i can't really refute this either from personal experience.
