Default QJo on button w 16BB

Is this a push? Or is it better to wait for a spot to re-shove?

Depends on all the info you didn't give us. I assume it's folded round to you. If this is bubble or close to I'd just fold. Otherwise I like min raise more than shove.

yes, I thought it was obvious that it was folded to me. We're well into the money. Doesn't raise/fold leave me with a terrible stack?

You may not have alot but you still have enough.Gut feelings at this point is that if you play the hand be willing to shove it all on the flop.Otherwise fold it and wait for a better hand to come around.Personnally i'd fold it and wait for something better and shove it all in.

yikes, don't open fold this. Min raise it and learn to play post flop with a short stack. if you have to raise/fold preflop, learn to play with a short stack preflop. ez game.

I like all the options: shove direct or miniraise/f. If we aren´t itm fold in my opinion.

wtf, people. You could min-raise any two depending on reads, this is a good hand.

yeah i don't know much about tourneys but this situation seems like we should be minraising or perhaps 2.5xing (not sure what's standard with antes) a pretty decent chunk of our range here given stack sizes, certainly any two broadways.

I probably just shove tbh but given stack sizes I do like the minraise too.
Actually been trying to jam a bit less often in spots where minraise might be more optimal (optimal > unexploitable).

And OP, yes it was obvious in your post that it had been folded around to ya.

I shove because of the stacks in the blinds, but depending on their 3bet tendencies mr/f can be fine too.

both blinds have hero covered, wouldn't that make us more inclined to raise small/plan to fold than to risk the whole stack?

so you give no info on the sb/bb and expect people to come up with solid advice with no reads?

mr it readless but given reads other options might be better

It depends a lot on your read on the sb and bb and how they have played until now. You still have a lot of chips and neither of the blinds have much more than you so I think I would be tenmpted to just try and steal the blinds with a raise. How much would I raise. Probably up to 2.5 x BB. You have got position if you get called and still have enough chips to do some damage if you have to fold.

I'd disagree to an extent, I think there are plenty of bad regs who are happier to shove lighter if they have you covered by a fair amount (e.g. if you have 60k and he has 140k)

I would not shove with this hand. Maybe min raise depending on the players next to you.

Hands like this are the death nail or the settest of the sweet, I get nervous when they are delt,I too like the min raise but I also like the shove until the other player flips QK . It also one of those NOW WWTF hands if you flo

TK4 or QA9 or QQJ AHH LIKING THIS FLOP LOL

Hands like this get me in more trouble, but I guess if I get a lot of auction before me Im letting it go. maybe, I dunno sometimes my clicking hand and brain thought aint in sync

Dan, I have no idea what you're trying to say or even what you're actually saying
