Poker Maximus III Events

Poker Maximus III starts on the Merge network today. 35 events held from November 29th thru December 9th. Entries fees are $11, $33, $60, $109, $215, and $530. There will be overlays, though should not be the two thirds overlay that The Winning Poker Network had in their series last week on most of their events. Poker Maximus III is being played on Carbon, Oddsmaker, Optimus Poker and Sportsbook that I know of.

I just finished a cashout from Carbon poker not too long ago before this series was announced, so not enough funds to play from Carbon.

Already did a cashout from Sportsbook, so not enough funds to play from Sportsbook .

I have enough funds to play one event on Oddsmaker.

I have $50+ on Optimus Poker, so I can play several events on Optimus Poker.

Black Chip has said they will not participate in the events and have an announcement next week to make things more clear. Sounds like leaving the network to WPN is a possibility. I may be jumping the gun. Wish they participated, have $92 there burning a hole in my pocket.

HeroPoker is not participating either. Stinks for me, as I have $400 on HeroPoker after two withdrawals. They participated last year in the Poker Maximus Series. Maybe they will make an announcement net week also???

I plan on playing events 2, 23, and 34 which are $11 entry events.
Would be a nice time to hit a final table.

Well, sucked at the Poker Maximus event 2. I was humming along almost to the second break. My son-in-law walks in to tell me he is adding 4G to my cell phone plan. needless to say, I was not paying much attention to my game after that. I went all in with pocket 9's and got two callers from people with 4 times my chips. I would not have done that under normal circumstances. I must have been changed tables recently because there was no one with more than 3000 chips more than me less than 2 hands earlier.

Anyhow, I have internet on my phone now no matter where I am in the States traveling. Gonna try to tether the phone to the laptop next, so I will have internet access on the laptop no matter what family I am visiting. Then try phone to old tv's maybe using a media streamer like the Neo TV Max.
I tried the 4G internet on my Walmart walk tonight. I picked up Iheartradio and Netflix at Walmart.
