    Default KK Ace on Flop

    Lock Poker Turbo NLH 9-max - $1.5 + $0.1 -- 0/15/30 Blinds -- 9 Players

I've played with the villain before, and the notes I have suggest that he's a bit passive. He'll open his big hands, but won't necessarily continue on flop. No new notes from this time around, and it is still early.

SB - 1,250 (is sitting out)
    BB - 1,180
    UTG - 1,420
    UTG+1 - 1,380
    MP1 - 1,605
    MP2 - 1,515
    HJ - 2,240
    CO - 1,455
    BTN (Hero) - 1,455

    Dealt to Hero K, K

6 folds, Hero raises to 90, one fold, Villain calls 60

    Pot is 195

    *** FLOP *** 9, 2, A

    Villain bets 195, Hero folds

Is there any way that's not an ace? In my experience, at pot-sized bet OTF means at least TP. Is there any way that donk bet is not an ace?

Well never say never in poker. This could be Q9, K9, 99, 22, a FD, some odd PP or just a stone cold bluff.

I could peel this at these stakes vs a random, especially BTN vs BB. But given your read + it's early game, it's an easy fold. If you aren't using your reads why pay attention at all, right?

Gabe started a great thread about KK with an A on the flop. It doesn't cover your exact situation but give it a look anyway:

I'd fold. Preserve your stack for a better spot.
