Huh? Anytime you lynch a wolf you are closer to finding the other wolves based on interactions, voting, etc. Lynching villagers doesn't give you that luxury because villagers are wrong all the time.

I do think the keith nom points at jkds, rong and gator, since these three are all prime nom targets when villager. gator has been getting heat and jkds seems ultra villager to me, so I'm thinking rong is a wolf here pretty often, and when he's not, gator is. keith could've got lynched today, attempting to frame hoopy (or me) is level 0 and not something I'm giving much thought to. So it's my belief he was nommed because the more obvious targets narrow the pool down a little too much.

rong vs gator would be a very interesting wagon dual for today.

@Hoopy: What are you talking about? Rong could easily switch votes there as a wolf, I think hes actually one of the best wolves on ftr because of shit like that. I also dont agree with his reason for switching either. Luco didnt out last game and was practically insta killed for it and showed up wolf, and I think rong was the main advocate of that reasoning too. To say Gator would have always outed as a wolf is to ignore all of this. I think Rong's switch is pretty damn wolfy, and given that his 'reads post' a few pages back was almost absent of villager reads and no committing wolf reads, it is a huge mistake to ignore him.

Yeah well tbh I don't think I'm a threat to them, and the longer I'm left the more of a distraction I become. They know I'm spent, so why nom me when I could be lynched? Dodging angel saves does make some sense, I expect angel saves will have been on you, so it's fair to assume wolves thought this too. But I'm still reaching the same conclusion - one of gator or rong is a wolf, because I doubt the wolves expect angels to be looking out for these except for self protecting angels, so if either rong or gator is villager, they would be considered easy pickings it they wanted. Only two reasons I can think for dan being left is 1 - he's a wolf, or 2 - gator is a wolf and wants to leave dan to ensure he's not the only one who looks dodgy simply because they weren't nommed.

gator feels a lot more pro-village than dan. gator has been actively hunting out wolves in the manner we come to expect from him as either alignment. dan though, this doesn't strike me as his normal villager game. His focus has remained on me, which indicates an awareness that if I'm cleared it becomes a problem for the wolves.

I agree with this. A gabe mislynch is always going to be a fistpump moment for the wolves, they're likely to take greater risks to make it happen. I speak from experience here.

That last point about burying posts is a good one, I always pay more attention to a nom victim's posts than a lynch victim. It's also why Hoopy's 'I'm going to review daven's posts' caught my eye earlier.

Your wolf game is outstanding, I've described it in the past as 'he leaves no crumbs, no more than any villager anyway' so challenges like this are difficult to respond to. Fuck, there was a game recently where I had my eye on you from d1 and it still took me till d4 to pin something on you, you were just that damn good. The price for this is that you sometimes get lynched as a villager.

My first thought was wondering why Rong would do this as a wolf when two villagers were on the hook, but looking a bit deeper it makes sense because I am a much easier lynch today than Gabe would have been once I had died and been found a villager.

With that said I also think we need to take as much time today as possible. I am through page 8 in my review and will hopefully be able to post my thoughts tonight.

Gator, (I think it was you) your argument that I would do that because you would be an easier lynch today that Gabe, that really doesn't make much sense. Both of you managed to get up to, what 6 votes? I don't think that sentiment would have changed by today regardless of who got lynched. The only reason you aren't straight back under fire is because I'm suddenly an easy target.

And to any of you wanting to lynch me now, surely Gator would be a better choice given how nothing has changed about him since yesterday. Unless of course you think that him not outing makes him less likely a wolf, in which case surely my switch yesterday can't have been that bad.

That said, I don 't want to lynch Gator for the very reason I switched from him at the last minute yesterday.
