Favorite Tourney Series

[PiMaster]

I am trying to figure out some various places to travel to these next 12 months for poker. Where are some of your favorite smaller buyin (main event 2k or less) series to visit? Thanks in advance!

Hi PiMaster. Welcome to the forums!

If you're looking to travel within the US, then here is a list of events that are scheduled over the next two months. Not all of them fit your criteria of $2k or less Main Event buy-in, but they all have daily events in the $100-$500 buy-in range.

July Start Dates

July 16 - 30: 2014 Grand Slam of Poker - Hustler Casino - Gardena, CA
* 9 events (all NLHE) from $140 - $500 buy-in ($500 M.E. on July 26)

July 17 - August 4: CPPT II - Choctaw Casino - Durant, OK
* More than 60 events (Mixed) from $65 - $1,620 ($1,620 M.E. on August 1)

July 23 - August 2: 2014 Denny Crum Poker Open - Horseshoe Casino Indiana - Elizabeth, IN
* 21 events (Mixed) from $60 - $675 buy-in ($675 M.E. on August 2)

July 28 - September 2: 2014 WPT Legends of Poker - Bicycle Casino - Bell Gardens, CA
* 34 events (Mixed) from $75 - $10k buy-in (most are $200-400) ($10k M.E. on August 26)

July 30 - August 3: 2014 Summer Showdown - Mohegan Sun - Uncasville, CT

Hi PiMaster. Would you like an update on this?

There are tons of events across the country for next month. I can pick a few out that meet your criteria and post poker room telephone contact numbers as well... just want to know if you're still considering doing your own poker tour.

Yes I am interested in your thoughts. Really looking for series that players have enjoyed going to - whether it's b/c of the schedule, the hospitality or the general local.
