Default [25NL FR Zoom] Facing Flop Check Raise w/draws

I'm assuming here villain is a fish because of the open limp but I only have 10 hands on him so far so stats are pretty much irrelevant. What line should we be taking against a small c/r like this?

It's tough to put him on a range as I know absolutely nothing about him but he could be doing this with air, weak flush draws, weak aces, A7/A8. I think if he had a set of 7s or 8s he would probably raise bigger. If I'm 3betting to ~12ish that's only leaving him 6 behind so I feel like I'd be better off shoving.

This is going to be a set the majority of the time, so your best play is to call and get it in on good turns imo

call, not close. At that sizing hero is getting around 3:1 and has close to direct pot odds to make a breakeven call even if villain put in no extra money on the river. Then factor in the fact that villain will possibly crying call on heart rivers, and will likely go broke on the other three 9s and, well, yeah, not close like i sad.

$18.89 left effective, with a pot of $12.85 OTT if we flat flop c/r. kind of a weird spot with stack sizes. but I see what your saying.

Call for sure. Not much fold equity if you shove, and getting too good of odds to fold.
