Villain in hand is pretty solid, has been snug and not getting out of line very much.

I start the hand with 115,000 blinds are 1500/3000/400

I open to 6,500 in MP, get called by BTN (90.000) and BB (130,000)

Flop (25,000)

BB checks, I bet 14,000, 1 fold, BB calls

Turn (53,000):
BB checks, I bet 30,000, BB goes all-in

Is betting turn a mistake here? Thought I could get him off KQ sometimes.

I mean yeah you have a lot of raw equity with your draw, but I don't think it plays out that favorably for you if you bet. Your outs all suck so much that I think you'd rather hit them against the widest possible ranges. If you get it in on the flop you'll be behind certainly. You should also consider the variance difference in a live tourney. Betting the flop leads to more outcomes where you bust your stack than checking does, for a relatively similar amount of chip-EV.

Turn I think you just run into stuff too often. He'll actually have you crushed with the NFD pretty often so I'd take the free river.

I folded because while it seems like we have all these outs to beat Qx, him doing this essentially cuts our draw into a bad flush draw.

The more I think about it I think your line is best, Renton. It seems we can realize our equity more often by checking than betting. I thought I was super excited to get it in on the flop but it's probably a disaster, and the turn bet is probably a large mistake.
